Research Assistants

Research assistant responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: participant recruitment, lab trainings, on-campus psychological and behavioral assessments of CA children and their parents (assessments will occur during weekday evenings and weekends to accommodate the families' schedules), data entry, and video coding. Research assistants will receive training in developmental psychology, developmental psychopathology, and cultural psychology research methods, and clinical interview/assessment skills. The position is ideal for students interested in pursuing graduate training in clinical/counseling psychology, developmental psychology, and other social science disciplines.

Work Hours: 6-15 hours per week (some weekday evenings & weekends), 199 credits are available.

Qualifications: Prior coursework in Research Methods, Developmental Psychology, and/or Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychopathology is desired. Previous experience working with children, families, and teachers in research/work settings or experience in survey/interview research is desired. Bilingual applicants (English and Mandarin or Cantonese, spoken and/or written languages) are encouraged to apply.
