Welcome to the Family and Culture Lab! 

Our research examines the influences of culture, family socialization, and temperament in the development of psychopathology and competence in childhood and adolescence. Graduate students in our lab explore research topics such as the development of executive function in childhood, bilingualism, student-teacher relationships, parent-child acculturation gaps, and the the influences of neighborhoods on child development.
